For many people, the challenges facing them because of their learning differences can become overwhelming and seem insurmountable. People may believe that learning will always be a struggle and that they just have to put up with it. Sometimes, the help provided just doesn’t feel like enough, or has limited effectiveness. Frustration grows as they continue to struggle, without really understanding why they do.

For some, the struggle to remain focused and manage their energy levels for different tasks is the problem. They think so fast, and their imagination is so engaging, that staying ‘present’ is a real difficulty. This leads to challenges around skills such as focus, planning, personal organisation and finishing projects. It can also impact social relationships. Struggling daily with executive life skills can become a burden.

But there is another way. People with dyslexia, ADHD, dyscalculia and dyspraxia are non-verbal thinkers. Instead of thinking with words (an inner voice) they think in pictures, tactile or kinaesthetic images. They need a different way to learn, which matches their thinking style and unlocks a pathway to successful learning. Davis® programmes or hands on, visual tutoring approaches provide this.

Imagine 'that' offers intensive programmes or tutoring sessions designed for non-verbal thinking styles and tailored to every individual. Together we can explore your needs and priorities, and decide what your goals are. Our sessions together will then be tailored to suit you. You will use your imaginative talents to establish tools which help with focus and accurate perception, and you'll then begin to address your goals successfully and rebuild confidence in your own innate learning strengths.
